In its 10th year, the Earth Day was held in SM Mall of Asia, Manila. Different activities for all ages were held for the participants’ satisfaction. Earth Day aims to inform and recruit others to take part in saving the Earth.

This coming Feb. 25, 2012 marks the 26th anniversary of the People Power Revolution. Then-president Ferdinand Marcos sent tanks to wipe out rebel officers Juan Ponce Enrile and Fidel V. Ramos who had barricaded themselves in the Defense Ministry Headquarters in Camp Crame. Priests and nuns knelt and prayed in front of the tanks while young girls handed out flowers to the soldiers. In the end, the Filipino people won back their freedom from dictatorship through a peaceful & bloodless revolution.
