Tropical paradise, Palawan, turns into a Christmas island with the “Paskuhan sa Kapitolyo,” headed by Gov. Joel Reyes. In this celebration, Palawenos, even from far-flung municipalities converge to celebrate the holiday season. “Paskuhan” features bazaars, delectable Pinoy food, and animated display shows. At the center of the celebration is a towering Christmas tree made from indigenous materials, created by Palawan’s project director for Culture & Arts, Dinggot Conde-Prieto.
